Devising Choreography: Teachers and Parents Workshop
04/02/2015
Let’s all dance!
In this teachers and parents workshop, YAF’s Founder and Artistic Director Lindsey McAlister will guide participants to create their own dance vocabulary, and share techniques for empowering and inspiring young people to be innovative choreographers themselves.
Participants will learn how to use music, images, words and emotions as stimulus for creating unique movement. Working independently and collaboratively, they will explore how to structure a piece of dance, and how to teach their ideas to others.
So join us this February – shed your inhibitions, let imagination guide your spirit, and dance!
