Standard Chartered Arts in The Park 2015 - Seeking Youth Volunteers

YAF is now recruiting volunteers to join this marvelous carnival! (Please note, this is NOT SUITABLE for Arts in the Park 2015 performers)

Standard Chartered Arts in the Park Mardi Gras (AIP) has been a large-scale, annual community arts event in Hong Kong since 2008 – attracting more than 120,000 visitors in 2014. Arts in the Park is also a fantastic opportunity for everyone to enjoy a variety of lively, innovative art activities, including fabulous colorful parades, a sun dance, vibrant art stalls and a medley of performances.

We are now seeking youth volunteers to help us out at the event! If interested, read on for more details and submit your application before the deadline. Look forward to working with you!

Event details
Date: Friday 13, Saturday14 & Sunday 15 November 2015
Time: 8:30am to 5:30pm (Sat & Sun) / 4pm to 10pm (Fri & Sat) – shift duty
Venue: Victoria Park

Volunteers will be:
- distributing flyers, programmes & souvenirs
- allocated varying roles: registration desk / wardrobe / stage crew / face painter / runner / workshop assistant / parade assistant / flag waver
- helping with registration and working closely with the stage management team to run on-stage programmes
- handling enquiries
A meal, water and an event T-shirt will be provided on the day.

A group interview will be arranged with suitable candidates on Thursday 20 October (6:30pm - 7:30pm) at the YAF Studio in Quarry Bay.
