Rae’s Letters of Hope: Master Class Recruitment
06/08/2016; 13/08/2016
Rae's Letters of Hope is a series of workshops in which participants gain an understanding of the emotions young cancer patients may experience during their treatment, and produce thoughtful messages to show their support and concern.
This year, professional artist Dawn Cheng guides participants to create light clay models to give to patients with their written messages to help them stay positive through their treatment. After a well-received first round, the second round of the master class will be held in August. We are now recruiting young people aged 15 to 25 to join this meaningful programme.
Rae's Letters of Hope is dedicated to the memory of professional artist Rae Leung, who helped to set up this youth cancer support initiative in 2014.
*The artworks completed by participants will be sent to patients at the beneficiary group.
