BE OUR CORPORATE VOLUNTEERS IN STANDARD CHARTERED ARTS IN THE PARK –MARDI GRAS |

Thanks to Standard Chartered and corporate volunteers from different enterprises, for the past few years the annual Arts In the Plaza (AIP) provided the community with an entertaining and fun-filled Sunday afternoon.
This year, the ever popular event will move to Victoria Park and has developed into a much bigger and much more exciting affair!
YAF is now calling for all interested corporations to participate in this fun-filled arts and community event. Corporations can be part of the event by sponsoring an arts stall, where their staff will learn the basic arts skills in a 2-hour workshop conducted by a YAF artist. Then, in early November, the volunteering "artists" will showcase their talents and put the art skills to real practice!
This year we are inspired by the adventurous scenes from "Gulliver's Travels", hundreds of young people will create their own costumes, giant puppets and flags, and perform in a procession on the event day. In the park, art stalls will provide the public with face-painting, flag and hat-making activities that will allow them to transform their look, participate in the event and join in the parade!
