Hysan have always been avid supporters of the art, ensuring that communities who do not have easy access to the arts are given opportunities to experience it. This year, they partner with YAF once again to provide an exciting arts opportunity for St. James Settlement.
To encourage young people through an innovative experience to engage with the environment and develop a better appreciation for nature, Hysan volunteers will accompany children from St. James Settlement on an excursion to Tai Mei Tuk. Here, a YAF artist will guide the participants on a hike to admire the beauty of nature. The artist will facilitate the participants in making and decorating kites for flying in the sky, symbolising their hopes and dreams will also soar high.
