It is the 10th year of partnership between Sheraton Hong Kong Hotel & Towers and YAF, celebrating a decade of constant support, passion and dedication in bringing art to those who may not have the opportunity to experience it!
Once again working with the Adolescent Medical Centre of Queen Elizabeth Hospital, over 20 young patients and Sheraton volunteers have created a colourful stencil mural for the infant's ward depicting the ocean and insect world under the guidance of artist Celia Wong. In addition, they have also created a 3-dimensional art installation that has transformed the front door into a playful forest, inviting visitors into their lush and vibrant world. This multicolored environment creates a warm, cheerful and lively atmosphere for both the in-patient infants and their families!
An exhibition of the finished art work will be open to the public in October at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre and at the Sheraton Hotel before permanent installation in the hospital.
