BOXING SHAKESPEARE: WORKSHOP FOR TEACHERS

This workshop is free of charge, ideal for drama/ arts/ English teachers.
THE WORKSHOP HAD BEEN HELD SUCCESSFULLY.
The Bard and the Classroom.
In the workshop we explored how to involve students in learning about Shakespeare.
The way into these works is to get down to the nitty gritty: Acting!
Through theatre games and hands on approach to Shakespeare text, we looked at different ways to engage young people and make the Bard accessible to all.
Workshop material based on sections from "12th Night", "Romeo and Juliet", and "Taming of the Shrew".
Some teachers brought along specific texts to explore, and looked at how to involve students in understanding and relating to the work organically.
