A major YAF event, "disco inferno" was created by JAI SEPPLE, and by arrangement with DAVID SPICER PRODUCTION. It was adapted and directed by Lindsey McAlister with musical director Scott Gibson and choreography by Jun Mabaquiao as YAF’s 2006 flagship musical.
Remember the summer of 1976? It was hot as hell! Devils were out to play, luring the young and the ambitious to give up their souls for 30 minutes of fame and fortune…
Satan’s right hand woman, Lady Marmalade finds Jack at Club Disco Inferno, Jack is dying to be rich and famous, singing at Top of the Pops and surrounded by hot babes. Lady M is more than happy to make his dream come true, as long as she can have his soul… Jack becomes a screaming sensation overnight, from a nobody to a heartthrob of every teenager in town, sadly his popularity doesn’t go down well with his longtime girlfriend, Jane. When it comes to the crossroad of fame and love, what will Jack choose?
This stunning musical is filled with your favourite pop tunes from the 70’s: Blame It on the Boogie, I Will Survive, Celebration, Play That Funky Music White Boy and of course – Disco Inferno!
