9-12/2007 SWIRE ISLAND EAST "URBAN DANCE FESTIVAL" ARTISTS-IN-RESIDENCE SITE-SPECIFIC DANCE WORKSHOPS Venue : In Several Local Schools Enquiry : 2877 2656 YAF has invited 8 school dance teams to join the artists-in-residence dance workshop series, the highlight programme of the “Swire Island East Urban Dance Festival” this December! Thank you. The Urban Dance Festival has been held successfully. YAF sent professional choreographers to selected schools from September to December to conduct 10 weeks of intensive workshops with the student dance teams to devise and create original site-specific dance performance for Urban Dance Festival in December 2007. We showed the youth of Hong Kong how they can celebrate and reflect on their beloved city through dance!
