Co-presented by the Hong Kong Youth Arts Foundation and the TakeOut Comedy, we bring a standup comedy workshop and an open mic performance in August 2008.
THANK YOU. THE WORKSHOP AND OPEN MIC PERFORMANCE HAD BEEN HELD SUCCESSFULLY.
Through the 4-hour workshop, participants learned how to improve public speaking skills and live out their dream of doing standup comedy. By creating their own comedy persona, they learned to get more laughs and created a comedy act based on their ideas and stories. They also learned the structure and basics of comedy writing, to develop stage presence, confidence, creativity and communicational skills.
After the workshop, participants had a chance to perform in front of a live audience in SOHO the following Monday evening! Everybody loved it!!
