1/9/2005-31/1/2006 MOSAIC PUBLIC ART PROJECT- COMMUNITY WORK PROGRAMME Venue : Bradbury Jockey Club Youth Hostel Hong Kong Youth Arts Foundation Limited and the Social Welfare Department, partnered together for the first time to present a unique mosaic public art project for unemployed youth. The project aimed to equip young people who receive Comprehensive Social Security Assistance with transferable skills. 40 young people participated in a 4 month mosaic art workshop to learn related art and design skills, as well as time management and how to work effectively as a part of a team. The final 700 square feet mosaic piece was permanently installed on the exterior wall of Bradbury Jockey Club Youth Hostel in Tai Po.
