TIE D’EYE - SEEING IS BELIEVING FUNDRAISING PROJECT |

Through art creation, the participating students could learn more about the problem of blindness throughout the world. The projects also helped generate donation to ORBIS.
Supported by Standard Chartered (Hong Kong) Limited. YAF present the 2nd visual arts fundraising project. Each participating student has donated HK$10 or above, towards this fundraising Project. 10,000 participants received a diamond shaped cotton fabric piece and learnt different tie dye methods to create a round pattern that symbolizes an eye-ball. All finished tie dye piece were sewn together to form a huge vibrant patchwork. We raised HK$300,000 and donated to ORBIS.
"Seeing is Believing" is Standard Chartered's major global fund raising programme, that aims to restore sight to one million people.
