Swire Properties has a long term commitment to promoting public art and cultural programmes. YAF and Swire Properties have partnered together to provide a valuable experience to 60 secondary students from the Island East district and enable them to create high quality art pieces for permanent display in Cityplaza.
A group of secondary school students from 8 schools participated in an intensive mosaic workshop led by project artist Gareth Dunster. Using the theme of ‘Flow’ and the titles fire, water, earth, green and space, the participants created a series of abstract mosaic art pieces. This July,all finished pieces have been installed in five corridors of the north wing of Cityplaza. Please come and visit these masterpieces, and celebrate with us the works of these talented young people.
