CLIFFORD CHANCE HONG KONG IN A BOX PHOTOCOLLAGE EXHIBITION |

Supported by Clifford Chance, this photo-collage project “Hong Kong in a Box” enabled a group of teenagers to view and present particular objects from various photographic perspectives. Twenty six young people from 13 local schools came together to join a series of workshops led by professional artist Ip Ka-Wai, Alexis, to learn how to transform a flat image into a 3D installation.
Applying the collage style of “Fotomo”, students were encouraged to spark a study of typical HK street scenes in Sheung wan, Wan Chai, Yuen Long or Tai Po. Then they captured the most interesting and memorable scenes with their cameras from different angles, finally presenting them vividly into a series of box shapes .
