With the generous support of The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust, YAF is excited about creating a series of Site Specific Art workshops which will enable over 1,000 primary and secondary school students to explore the concept of site-specific art under the guidance of professional artists and create their own installation.
YAF will organize a variety of workshops such as Artist in Residence Workshops, Teacher Workshops, Master Classes and Collective Sculpture-Making Workshops to cater for young people in Hong Kong. We are currently looking for all interested schools, youth centres and youth groups to participate – register your interest now!
The programme will celebrate the distinct characteristics of particular districts and cultivate a sense of pride and belonging in the young people, whilst providing inspiration and entertainment for the thousands of spectators living and working in the neighborhoods. Over 30 artworks will be installed in 8 shopping centres courtesy of our venue sponsor The Link Management Limited.
