"Hong Kong for Sale" is a fun exhibition, inviting visitors to walk around Langham Place Hotel to appreciate the artworks. Inspired by Pop Art, YAF invites Paul Chan, Hong Kong Open Printshop and Black Sheep Production led youth participants in transforming the every day object "Price Tag" into a series of artworks which are tailor-made for specific decorations and locations in the hotel. A giant price tag soft sculpture will be attached to a chandelier, a collection of print making price tags are placed on sofas, bar stools, staircase and existing artworks.
These stunning art installations not only add a Pop Art flavour to existing decoration and artworks, but it also reflects Hong Kong’s entrepreneurial core, where everyone is selling something!
