YAF partners with The Body Shop to find out how today’s teenagers interpret and express their feelings of “LOVE ETC… TM”. YAF visual artist Emily Eldridge is working closely with a group of 20 teenagers to create a collection of dynamic and vibrant decorative artworks that embrace and/or celebrate the power of Love. The participants will design templates that are energetically stylised, oversized, funny and abstract body figures, by using a variety of techniques including found object collage, illustration, painting and photomontage to create refreshing and unique designs.
The Body Shop will be launching a new fragrance “LOVE ETC…TM” a scent that is more than an irresistible fragrance but highlights the power of love as a universal force. It symbolises love in all its dimensions, including friends, places, work, hobbies and events. What does love mean to you?
The artwork will be displayed together in an exhibition, making a visual statement that shares with the public ideas, thoughts and feelings of Hong Kong’s young people.
