THE HONG KONG JOCKEY CLUB POINT TO POINT SITE SPECIFIC ART PROJECT VISUAL ARTS EXHIBITION
Venue : 8 Different Venues Stated Below
Enquiry : yan@hkyaf.com

For the second year running, YAF will launch a series of exhibitions in May at 8 different venues to celebrate the talent of our youth all over Hong Kong. Funded by The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust, "The Hong Kong Jockey Club Point to Point Site Specific Art Project 2010" involves over a thousand students, inspiring them to create high quality artworks that express their perception of the chosen locations in our community.

In the exhibitions, visitors can experience the unlimited potential of art. For example, a 3m x 15m ark made out of recycled plywood will be on display at the Central Star Ferry Piers, two mobile luxury roof houses will be built in the Cattle Depot to explore the social issue of poverty, or you can witness the creation of a giant sculpture built on site by 100 young people at Cyberport. This on-site art creation is currently inviting schools, parents and children to join. For more information, please email: yan@hkyaf.com.

If you would like to know more details about the artwork displayed, please visit one of our venues during the exhibition period to pick up our free project booklet.
