Youth Emerging Audiences! (YEA!) aims at encouraging young people to experience a variety of high quality and innovative performances, whilst giving them the opportunity to meet other people who have a passion for seeing performances! With the support of The Ohel Leah Synagogue Charity, YAF will invite children who are interested in puppet theatre to come and see the "Seasons Of The Sweet Gum" puppet musical (In Cantonese) made by Fantasy Puppet Theatre and presented by Leisure & Cultural Services Department.
Every three months, YAF will select a show for this programme. Interested participants are invited to sign up and join YAF in seeing the show, YAF will also arrange for a special meet-the-artists or backstage tour so that the youth can have the opportunity to see what happens behind the scenes.
This musical reminds us to treasure the unique plants and animals we have here in Hong Kong. With original music and exquisite puppets, the audiences will enjoy a dynamic and diverse puppetry performance!
