Just as a variety of nutrients is necessary for maintaining our body's physical health, so our community also needs a variety of cultural ingredients for healthy cultural development – and that includes art!
YAF is currently calling for local artists interested in taking part in the Community Arts Biennale to be held in May 2013. The Biennale will showcase artworks related to the Hong Kong community in order to encourage community engagement. Artists interested in taking part are asked to submit their concepts before 27 July 2012.
Those artists selected to take part must complete their work as specified in the artistic concept and before 31 March 2013. Selected artists will be offered:
- Artist Sponsorship of HK$8,000–HK$12,000
- Material Sponsorship of HK$30,000–HK$100,000
- The chance to showcase their works at the Community Arts Biennale
