The Hong Kong Jockey Club Community Project Grant: stART Up Community Arts Project – Community Dance Blackbox Theatre Performance
29/03/2025; 29/03/2025; 30/03/2025

How do we appreciate dance in the absence of sight and sound?
On 29 and 30 March, join us for Feel:Connect – an exploration of the senses through dance.
Led by choreographer Malvina Tam, inclusive arts practitioner Scarlette Cheng (aka C+), and Comma Chan, founder of Dark Theatre and Arts Talent, this performance showcases a diverse group of dancers – both able-bodied and disabled. Feel:Connect offers a mesmerizing and emotional journey, inviting you to experience dance anew with moments that heighten or dampen your senses – some performers will dance in silence and darkness, while others will use audio description.
The free 70-minute performance takes place in San Po Kong at TWGHs TungPo Multi-Purpose Hall (Black Box Theatre) and includes a post-event sharing session. Online registration is required at https://www.hkyaf.com/applications/view/298. The performance is suitable for ages six and above. Sign language interpretation will be provided for all post-event sharing sessions. If you have any additional accessibility requests, please share the details when registering.
