The Hong Kong Jockey Club Community Project Grant: stART Up Community Arts Project – Community Dance Workshop – Recruiting Schools and Community Groups
01/12/2025-14/02/2026

Celebrate your individuality through dance!
DanceAbility is an empowering approach to dance that embraces individuals with disabilities and provides a platform for self-expression and personal growth. Through inclusive and adaptive techniques, the programme allows all participants to fully engage in a barrier-free world of dance.
As our DanceAbility programme enters its third year, we would like to invite local schools and community groups working with individuals with physical disabilities to join our free DanceAbility workshops. All workshops are led by certified DanceAbility Master Teacher Scarlette Cheng and a team of youth choreographers.
To take part, please read the guidelines and complete the application form here (in Chinese only). Places are limited and offered on a first come, first served basis.
About the project
The Hong Kong Jockey Club Community Project Grant: stART Up Community Arts Project runs from October 2025 to March 2026. The programme provides accessible arts opportunities for people of all ages, cultures and abilities, promotes understanding and equity among people of diverse backgrounds, and expands perceptions of art as a universal language that can bring together people of all ages, cultures and abilities.
