Seeking enthusiastic and energetic actors, singers and dancers between the ages of 9 and 25 to take part in the theatrical experience written by Cirque du Soleil composers!
We are thrilled to announce that our 2017 theatre performance will be an original production created in collaboration with Cirque du Soleil composer and singer duo, Violaine Corradi and Rose Winebrenner!
A tale of courage, friendship and love of nature brought to life through word, song, dance, puppetry, physical theatre and acrobatics. Join us for this unforgettable theatrical experience!
Dance (Function Room 1, Queen Elizabeth Stadium)
Ages 9 - 25: 16 | 09 | 2016, 11am – 6pm (7slots)
Come prepared to learn a dance routine.
Singing (Dance Studio 12, Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts)
Ages 9 - 14: 17 & 18 | 09 | 2016, 10.30am - 1.30pm (4 slots)
Ages 15 - 25: 17 & 18 | 09 | 2016, 1.30pm - 4.30pm (4 slots)
Please prepare a one-minute song from any musical to sing without accompaniment.
Auditions registration have now begun. For singing auditions, register here. For dance auditions register here. Spots will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. You can choose to register for either or both auditions. Callbacks take place on 1 & 2 October. Dance training begins in December, main rehearsals begin in January 2017 and performances take place 25 - 29 April 2017. Experience preferred, enthusiasm a must!

Adverse Weather Arrangements:
If Typhoon Signal No. 3or Red Rainstorm Warning hoisted：
auditions proceed as scheduled.
If Typhoon Signal No. 8 or Black Rainstorm Warning hoisted：
Auditions will proceed 3 hours AFTER the signal/warning is taken down:
· i.e. If HKO announces they will hoist No 8. at 2pm, the 2pm session will be cancelled, but sessions before 2pm will continue.
· i.e. Typhoon 8 downgraded to Typhoon 3 at 9.30am. Auditions resume at 12.30pm.
· i.e. Black Rainstorm Warning downgraded to Red Rainstorm Warning at 10 am. Auditions resume at 1pm.
Any audition sessions missed will be rescheduled to 1 & 2 October, with callbacks at a later date TBC.
If there are any sessions that need to be cancelled due to the weather conditions, the auditions will be postponed to October 1 or 2 (details will be further confirmed). Under adverse weather conditions, safety is our priority. Your/your child’s attendance is at the parent’s discretion. We will be in touch after the weekend to rearrange auditions should it be necessary.

The Hong Kong Jockey Club Community Project Grant: stART Up Community Arts Project 2020: If Not Me, Who? Performance and Workshop for Schools
The original HKYAF eco-theatre production If Not Me, Who? tours to schools in Spring 2020. Excerpts from the show will be performed in Cantonese, followed by a dynamic and fun theatre workshop that explores climate change, sustainability and the consequences of fast fashion in an impactful way.
