Art! WeCan Exhibition – An Art Education Initiative from Project WeCan
27/06-05/07/2023
Art! WeCan is an education initiative designed to help students explore their creative potential, enhance self-confidence and achieve self-empowerment through the arts. The initiative is organised as one of Project WeCan’s joint-school programmes and co-organised by HKYAF. Between March and June this year, local artists and 200 students from 13 secondary schools came together for a series of artist-in-residence workshops exploring a range of creative formats, such as block prints, zentangle drawings, installations, wood sculptures, self-portraits, puppets, graphic design and graffiti. From 27 June to 5 July, over three hundred pieces of creative artwork resulting from the programme are on display at our free exhibition at Plaza Hollywood, Diamond Hill.
