Following its successful predecessor PROJECT AFTER 6: Cube Culture (2018), Hong Kong Youth Arts Foundation (HKYAF) and Taikoo Place collaborate once again to produce another new original musical comedy PROJECT AFTER 6: Mou Man Tai, featuring a cast of 33 office executives.
PROJECT AFTER 6: Mou Man Tai is a concept musical built around the minutiae of everyday Hong Kong life to showcase the love-hate sentiment Hong Kongers have for their city. The musical is filled with humorous yet resonating city personalities such as the ambiguous chemistry between “madams” and their maids, the overly idolised super tutors appearing behind every bus and many more.
Written and directed by Lindsey McAlister, founder of the HKYAF and the creative mastermind behind PROJECT AFTER 6: Cube Culture. The musical also features 14 pieces of original music tracks created by highly sought after BAFTA & Emmy award-winning composer Nick Harvey, music direction by Amuer Calderon, sound design by Can Ha, lighting design by Lee Chi Wai and last but not least, astonishing stage and costume designs by Marsha Roddy!
Check out the show’s mini site for more information. Tickets are currently sold out, but if more tickets become available, they will be sold through the show’s mini site.
