Anca’s first HKYAF dance project — the Hong Kong Handover in 1997 — opened her eyes to the power of the arts and ignited her love for dance. This passion continued to grow as she travelled with YAF to perform at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, and danced with various performance companies while earning a BA at the University of Pennsylvania and an MSc at the London School of Economics.
Before returning to Hong Kong in 2013, she pursued arts marketing at London’s Southbank Centre and Young Vic Theatre, where she humbly worked with some of the world’s greatest established and emerging artists. Anca is extremely excited to be back with the HKYAF family, and to be able to help nurture a lifelong love for the arts in other young people, just as HKYAF did for her.
