Allason in #ArtsinthePark

Next up, we have Allason who performed in #ArtsinthePark for the first time this year. She danced in Anca Chung’s To Infinity and Beyond.

I loved… learning this dance and meeting new people (as well as seeing old friends)

I learned… how to adapt and/or improvise in unexpected situations

I am going to miss.. everything!! 

I laugh when I think back to… how we had to do an unexpected performance with only around 10 minutes to prepare, with performers still out eating lunch and people lost around the park.

Challenges? Learning all the steps and getting the timing right to the music because there are a lot of canons in the dance.
