What is your profession?
I’d like to be able to tell you that I am a traveller, but in reality I am a graphic designer. I try to travel around as much as I can.
How long have you been at this job for?
I’ve been a graphic designer for quite a few years now, ever since I graduated. I have been at my current place of work in Tai Koo for about two years.
Do you have any special place in Tai Koo/ Quarry bay? Somewhere to wind down and/or relax?
I think for me, it is definitely the grasslands behind One Island East. I tend to go that way for lunch and everyone who is there always looks very relaxed and calm, especially on a very sunny day.
Have you always been interested in performing arts?
Yes I have, especially singing, especially karaoke. Additionally I have been helping out with some backstage work for various performances, I was with ASM helping out with props and moving sets around.
Have you had any previous involvement with any performing arts projects?
The last performing arts project I was involved in was in grade 6 at school. Since then I had been trying to focus on work. So Cube Culture would be my first project as an adult.
What drove you to audition for Cube Culture?
After being involved in performances, working backstage, I was quite interested to see if I could do a bit of acting myself. I heard about Cube Culture from one of my friends who works at Swire. She saw the poster and told me about it. We auditioned together, but unfortunately she didn't get in.
What would you say is your favourite musical?
I have seen a few Hong Kong pop musicals and I thought the music they used really drove the mood and atmosphere of the musical as a whole.
