Hong Kong Youth Arts Foundation - Standard Chartered Arts in the Park 2026: Auditions for RAW A Cappella Team Singers

Do you love music, harmony, and the thrill of performing live? HKYAF’s RAW a cappella team is seeking passionate singers and beatboxers aged 10 to 25 to perform at the city’s largest youth arts outdoor event, Standard Chartered Arts in the Park!

Rehearsals are led by professional singing coach Astrid Lui and take place every Sunday afternoon between September and the performances on 14 and 15 November.

To apply, simply complete the application form and submit it with an audition video as detailed below.

Successful applicants will receive an email confirmation for their audition slot by 31 May. Auditions take place on 14 June, between 9:30am and 2:30pm, so reserve the day in your calendar!

If you are a past member of RAW, simply submit your application form (no audition video required), and you will be invited to the on-site auditions on 14 June.

You may audition for both our RAW a cappella team and Harmonix show choir, but you will only be selected for one group.

Audition Process

Round 1: Video Audition
Application deadline: 24 | 05 | 2026

Complete the online application form and submit a one to two-minute video* of yourself either singing (without music) or performing beatboxing/vocal percussion (with music), with your face clearly visible.

*Please provide a sharable link for your submitted video (YouTube, Google Drive, Dropbox) and name the video with your full name.

Round 2: In-person Audition
Date: 14 | 06 | 2026
Time: 9:30am – 2:30pm
Venue: HKYAF Studio (Quarry Bay)

Shortlisted applicants will be notified by email on or before May 31, 2026. The second-round in-person audition lasts about 60 minutes; timeslots will be assigned to you after round 1. Please keep the audition day available.

A cappella singers must learn and perform the assigned score; beatboxers are required to prepare a beatbox accompaniment for a specific song.
