A CHORUS LINE Teacher Drama Workshop
11/11/2013
This December, YAF presents a fiery re-imagination of the multi-award-winning smash hit A CHORUS LINE. Audience will experience the blood, sweat and tears of what goes on behind the scenes. Conducted by the director, Lindsey McAlister, this workshop explores techniques utilised in the rehearsal process with A CHORUS LINE' actors including character development, creating a back story, hot seating and creating scenarios where the actor improvises the scene in role.
These techniques are useful tools when creating any genre of performance and exploring literature. This workshop has been created so that the practices can be taken straight into the classroom and used by either Primary or Secondary teachers. This workshop is suitable for all drama teachers. Interested parties should register online in the link below. Places will be allocated on a first come, first serve basis.
