Miller Performing Arts – Gen Last – Registration for School Bookings

It is the year 2055. On a bleak and desolate post-apocalyptic wasteland, a group of young people with extraordinary psychic powers are drawn together from different corners of the globe. They are the enigmatic Crystal Children.
 
Navigating the world alone, they confront the consequences of our failure to heed the warnings of climate change, hopeful that they can rebuild civilisation from the ashes.
 
This November, HKYAF’s new flagship production Gen Last takes to the stage at The Box, Freespace. Written and directed by Lindsey McAlister, the original musical tells a story of empowerment and optimism. Knowing that the fate of the planet rests in their hands, the young protagonists arm themselves with a shared determination to coexist harmoniously with nature.
 
Come see this new musical that will be staged for the very first time at The Box, Freespace in WestK! School bookings are now open. Tickets are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Book now by completing this online booking form and returning it to carmen@hkayf.com.

Booking details:
● Tickets：$180 (students); $260 (teachers)
● 1 complimentary teacher ticket for every 10 student tickets booked
● Advance school bookings are only open for school parties to book for the schools-only matinees
● Suitable for ages 8 and above
● Performed in English with Chinese subtitles; approx. 90 minutes without intermission. The school performances will be followed by a 15-minute Q&A with the cast and creative team for those interested
● Public tickets will go on sale in September 2024 via WestK's official website
