Art! WeCan 2025 Exhibition – Project WeCan Art Education Programme
20/05-05/06/2025

Everyone has the ability to realise their potential and shine!
Join us to celebrate the artistic spirit of our community at the Art! WeCan 2025 exhibition! On display between 20 May and 5 June at Central Pier No. 7 and at the upper deck of the Star Ferry, “Twinkling Star”, the exhibition features nine sets of site-specific works inspired by Hong Kong’s unique culture.
Art! WeCan is one of Project WeCan’s joint school programmes. Co-organised by Hong Kong Youth Arts Foundation (HKYAF) and supported by a matching grant from the Social Welfare Department's Partnership Fund for the Disadvantaged, the educational initiative is designed to help students explore their creative potential and achieve self-empowerment through the arts. The series features bird-house installations, fabric bird sculptures, wooden reliefs, bunting designs, large-scale arched window stickers, woollen weaving installations, and posters highlighting Cantonese slangs. The works were created over the past six months by more than 500 local youths from 42 secondary schools, who worked with professional artists in Artist-in-Residence workshops and Art Fun Days. With the venue sponsored by The “Star” Ferry Company, Limited, students' artistic works engage the community, while showcasing the vibrant energy and creativity of Hong Kong's younger generation to travellers.
