Spark! Art Empowerment Programme
The Spark! Art Empowerment Programme brings artistic experiences to young individuals in small group homes and foster care services in Hong Kong. Over the past two years, the programme has held over 700 art activities for more than 400 participating children and their families.
Due to limited resources, children in foster care often lack opportunities to explore the arts. Our programme helps foster children and children with special educational needs (SEN) express their unique voices through the arts and creativity. By integrating elements of popular culture, our programme has successfully captured the interest of these young individuals. Some participants even go on to receive awards, highlighting the positive impact that the arts have on their development.
The Spark! Art Empowerment Programme 2026 aims to nurture the artistic talents of children through a variety of visual and performing arts activities, igniting creativity among the youth of Hong Kong.
