Miller Performing Arts: Youth Assistant Choreographers Summer Online Dance Programme – Team Bausch

This summer, using frames as props, a group of talented HKYAF dancers explored the topic of social media and enhanced their dance-making training as part of the Youth Assistant Choreographers Summer Online Dance Programme – Team Bausch. 

Working through Zoom, and facilitated by the brilliant Ronny Wong, they worked on exercises designed to sharpen their devising skills and dance technique. The dancers also created their very own solos to explore the wonders and hidden dangers of social media. At the end of the week, the dancers’ solos were professionally filmed and edited. Check out their amazing work.

Participants also took part in online workshops led by London West End performer Cletus Chan, dancer and yoga teacher Marah Arcilla and dancer and choreographer Yung Yan-yin, who shared audition techniques and tips on learning dance phrases remotely.
