Miller Performing Arts: I’mperfect - Seeking Youth Performers
07/05/2022; 08/05/2022
When Lexie, Taz and Charlie meet online, they quickly hit it off and start a private chat – not realising that they also know each other in real life.
In the anonymous online world, each of them lives a perfect life. But offline, all three are confronted with body image issues, and soon things start to unravel…
Written and directed by Lindsey McAlister, the new original theatre production I’mperfect – the third in our flagship trilogy following #hashtag in 2020 and Only a Girl in 2021 – explores teenage identity in a world where you can be whoever you want to be online, but not without consequences.
We are now seeking dancers and female-identifying actors aged 12 to 25 who are keen to be part of I’mperfect. The show opens this November. Experience preferred, enthusiasm a must!
