The Peninsula Hong Kong's 85th Anniversary

In 1928, The Peninsula Hotel in Tsim Sha Tsui first opened its doors as the ‘finest hotel East of the Suez’. In 1994, the hotel expanded with an addition of a modern 30-story tower. Today, The Peninsula Hotel remains a success, redefining sophistication, taste, glamour and comfort.
Choreographed by Kirsten Ho, this performance draws inspiration from the hotel’s architecture and celebrates the rich history of The Peninsula. Using a combination of classical techniques, jazz movements and abstract motifs, From 1928 reflects the distinct style of The Peninsula: the harmonious unification of the colonial with the modern.
